Cemetery Sales Counselors

As Aiken’s most accommodating cemetery, Southlawn has the privilege of being able to help thousands of people with their cemetery arrangements, while remembering and honoring their loved ones. We provide a broad scope of products and services through the ownership, development, and operation of cemeteries in South Carolina. Customers are able to plan and pre-purchase their burial plot, vault, mausoleum space, memorial and other details connected to a burial.
We are currently seeking sales counselors to join our family service team! We are seeking successful, compassionate, energetic, service minded individuals with integrity, These individuals must have the ability to problem solve and listen to the needs of each family they serve.

Job Responsibilities:
Fiscal Duties: Sales Quota
The daily activity at the cemetery to include customer service / sales, prospect, and follow up
Staff/Office Management:
Staff members, including Sales, Admin, Maintenance
- Develop and maintain a positive environment to ensure families are motivated to trust you
- Ability to perform Front Desk tasks including grave location, scheduling of burial and work orders.
- Ability to perform Family Service role including At-Need and Pre-Need sales.
Grounds Management:
- Issue work orders
- Assure burial sites are consistently prepared and maintained at the highest level.
Position Qualification Requirements:
- Cemetery Family Service Sales.
- Thorough understanding of how to serve each family as if they were your own. Maintain and/or improve the cemetery’s performance.
- Working knowledge of cemetery operation, sales, and grounds.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and families.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer and technology skills
Physical Demands:
Tasks require a variety of physical activities, generally involving muscular strain, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, sitting, reaching, lifting, etc. Mental application utilizes problem solving skills, memory for details, verbal instructions.
